Returns and Refunds

Freedomwave is committed to transparency and customer satisfaction. This policy explains returns, refunds, and replacements for refurbished smartphones and other electronics sold on www.freedomwave.net.

Product Condition & Software Disclosure

  • Smartphones sold by Freedomwave are refurbished devices, tested for full functionality.
  • Devices may show minor cosmetic wear consistent with refurbishment.
  • Smartphones are shipped with an alternative operating system (such as /e/OS) installed in place of the manufacturer’s stock software.
  • Software modification does not affect your right to return, replacement, or refund under this policy.

Order Processing & Availability

  • Orders typically ship within 5–7 business days after purchase.
  • If a product is unavailable or a substitution is required, you will be notified before shipping and may:
    • approve the substitution, or
    • cancel the order for a full refund.

If an item is out of stock for an extended period or discontinued, a full refund will be issued.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Return Eligibility

Refurbished smartphones are eligible for return provided:

  • The return request is made within 30 days of delivery.
  • The device is returned in the same functional condition as received.
  • Normal cosmetic wear consistent with refurbishment does not disqualify a return.

Returns may be refused if the device shows signs of misuse, liquid damage, or unauthorized modification after delivery.

Defective or Non-Functional Devices

Freedomwave provides a 30-day defect guarantee from the date of delivery.

A defect includes:

  • failure to power on
  • hardware malfunction
  • software instability not caused by user modification

If a defect is reported within 30 days:

  1. The device must be returned for inspection.
  2. If confirmed defective, Freedomwave will:
    • replace the device at no cost, including shipping, or
    • issue a full refund if a replacement is unavailable.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to:
    • a confirmed defect
    • damage during shipping
    • an error by Freedomwave

In these cases, return shipping costs will be covered by Freedomwave.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or due to seller error.

Exchanges

Direct exchanges are not offered. Replacements are provided only for defective or non-functional devices as described above.
